Cottonwood Master Plan & Form-Based Code Buena Vista, Colorado

Cottonwood is a rural traditional neighborhood development comprised of one village and three hamlets. Designed with conservation in mind, TPUDC was able to preserve over 50% - 60% of the site as public open space in conservation easements for riparian corridors and elk wintering grounds while still achieving significantly higher densities than the previous conventional plan. The project also features an innovative working organic farm that will sell fresh produce in the town center market.
